2010 CES Had Everything You Didn’t Need

January 8th, 2010

If you follow the Consumer Electronics Show that happened in Las Vegas, Nevada this past week you may be running out to buy your 3D specs, tablet notebook, or e-reader.  Or maybe you’re waiting for them to actually get better, for apple to release their version, or, sticking with your old standbys.  Either way it was a fun show to watch on the likes of CrunchGear, Engadget, and Gizmodo.

ESPN made the timely announcement during the week of the CES that they will be launching a new 3D channel (not called “The Ocho”) just in time for the 2010 World Cup. Shortly to follow (already amid rumors) was DirectTV announcing that they would be the first to broadcast in 3D for the US, coming in June. Then there was the 3D cameras, the 3D equipped televisions, and blah blah, cloudy with a chance of more 3D.

Next up was the much anticipated release of Google’s very own phone, the Nexus One. Be excited, be very excited. Your Google life now has an official phone and comes with bells and whistles not yet available on other droid based phones.

So what can you use out of all this? Who knows. But it is going to be a jam packed 2010 with tons of new Gadgets for you to consume.
